February we had the pleasure of attending the annual Rebus Training Ltd awards evening and are proud to announce that this year we won the employer of the year award.
It is always a privilege to be invited to this event to celebrate the achievements of electrical apprentices and employers and also to help to raise some much-needed funds for the chosen charity of the year The Hubb Foundation
The room was full with approx 200 people, with some amazing local businesses from the electrical industry in attendance. Some of which myself and Tim Higgins have always had great respect for and had taken inspiration from when we first set out on our journey with Smart Electrical Installations Ltd. To even be nominated alongside some of these, for us, is an achievement in itself and something that 6 years ago we thought we could only dream of.
This award is a testament to how far we have come as a business along with the hard work, commitment and dedication of everyone involved here at Smart Electrical. Our apprentices, electrical engineers, supervisors and managers have all had a part to play in this achievement. Special thanks to our operations manager Gary Quartley for his work in liaising with the Rebus training assessors, helping to ensure that our apprentices are always on track and to all of our electrical engineers who each play a part in helping to train the next generation of our industry.
